1st Step: Preparation of the surface

Make sure the surface is flat, dry and free of stones and debris (we recommend the use of a vacuum cleaner). In new mortars have to wait until complete drying. The humidity should not exceed 3%.

2nd Step: Tools

Tools needed to obtain before starting the installation of laminate are: electric saw, handsaw or a hacksaw, hammer (we recommend it be rubber so not to injure the boards), octant , roulette tables, clips, wedges (to put distance between wall and laminate).

3rd Step: Insolation for laminate

We recommend the use of isolation, which is laying the foundation before placing the laminate. It provides good sound and heat insulation, robbery unevenness on the floor. Insulation boards must be placed in rows, leaving a distance of 2 mm between them. It is necessary to maintain temperature around joints of 10 millimeters to walls, thresholds, columns and more. Insulated panels can be placed in the direction of the flooring. Should be avoided matching joints of the pad and flooring.

4th Step: Laying the laminate

Make the first line to the wall, not forgetting to leave a distance between the boards and the wall 8-10 millimeters (use wedges). It is important to pay attention to this step because it is very likely laminate to swell if you miss it. Place the following lines so that they resemble a brick wall.

Attention: The laminate is placed on a floating basis and is not necessary to grip it with nails, screws or glue.

5th Step: Installing skirting boards

You need clips, dowels, screws, joints (length of edge is usually 2.5 meters), stopper (left and right), angle (internal and external). We recommend you pre-judge how many of these accessories will you need. Clips to grip the wall and screw through the dowel, then sill is attached to them. The recommended distance to which the clips are from one another is 30 centimeters.

6th Step: Care

After installation is necessary to take appropriate actions to protect the flooring. To prevent scratching, we recommend to put felt on slide chairs and mats. Cleaning can be done only with preparations for laminate flooring.
